What is dengue fever?

  • High fever

  • Muscle and joint pain

  • Skin rashes

  • In severe cases: bleeding or dengue shock

There is no specific treatment, but early intervention can reduce complications.


How to protect yourself?

Prevention is key to fighting dengue fever. Here are some simple measures:

  • Eliminate stagnant water around your home (flower pots, gutters, tires).

  • Use mosquito repellent on exposed skin.

  • Install mosquito nets on the windows and sleep under a mosquito net if necessary.

  • Wear long clothing in high-risk areas.
